About the e-Class
Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is a group of neurodegenerative diseases that overlap between Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease in clinical and pathological manifestations, with fluctuating cognitive dysfunction, visual hallucinations and Parkinson's syndrome as clinical characteristics and Lewy bodies as pathological characteristics. Most researchers believe that DLB has constituted an independent disease that’s more common in the elderly and slightly more common in men than women.
